  "My husband and I bought first class tickets because they were on sale. Initially there was a group of people who were not supposed to be in the first class cabins and they were talking loudly. When the inspector came, they had to go to their "rightful" seats and there was quiet. Everything was good except that on the end leg, there was no water in one of the toilet cubicles. "

  "The journey was very comfortable. The train interiors were fantastic and there was sufficient leg room available. Separate areas for storage of luggage was also a plus point since we were a big family of 5 persons and had a few bags with us. Overall we enjoyed the experience very much and I would recommend TGV train travel to all. "

  "We have a pleasant journey from Lourdes to Paris via Bordeaux. For family trip, it's better to take longer transit in Bordeaux as we have only around 20 minutes to jump to another train. A bit hurry to travel with family (with seniors or children). However TGV is comfortable and convinience for travelling. "

  "This was a great way to get from Southern France to Paris. It took about 7 hours. There was a convenient food train so I was able to kill some time and grab some lunch. The second class seat was comfortable een when the train got crowded. Two issues: I travelled from lourdes, luckily I went very early to the train station to make sure all was well. It turns out that I needed to catch a bus from Lourdes to Pau and then the train to Paris. The bus was leaving an HOUR earlier than my train time, so I lost an hour of time to spend at Lourdes. Another unusual thing was that passengers were sitting in different seats, which was a bit annoying. A new group would get on the train with children and expect to sit in ny seat regardless if they were reserved. Overall it made getting to Paris very easy. "

  "I was disappointed because I booked from Lourdes to Paris, and I thought that it will lessen our burden in carrying our luggage because we stayed in the hotel right infront of the Lourdes train station but to our surprise when we were at the train station we are told that we will be transported by bus to Pau to catch the train to Paris. We have 3 luggage and a baby push chair, when we were at Pau train station we were going up and down several stairs and it was a horrible experience carrying those luggage up and down. If we only know that we will get in the train at Pau station, I should have cancelled it and instead take the plane to Paris but the problem was that we were not informed ahead of time that the train from Lourdes was cancelled due to whatever problems. My suggestion is that if there are changes regarding the train schedule and routes you should have informed the passengers thru emails so that we will be aware and plan ahead an alternate route. "

  "We had taken the TGV Atlantique from Paris to Lourdes (direct) and we thoroughly enjoyed the scenic journey. What we liked? Second Class travel is more than comfortable. The seats. The cabin cleanliness. What we did not like? Second class air conditioning was insufficient. Felt very warm at times... All announcements in FRENCH only making it very difficult for English-speaking passengers to understand deviations to routes which occurred on our trip. Toilets can be cleaner. Bar to be better equipped. Baggage space to be increased. Sufficient warning to be given to passengers when train is ready to depart - currently, the door just shuts at departure time. Summary: An awesome experience. "
